This site is dedicated to the hundreds of rockers and bikers who frequented the Swan Cellar Rock Discos from 1975 to 1985 until it closed and moved into the Malt and Hops bar. The DJ's were Prince John, John Brent, Mik Quo, Daggy and Trevor Crook (now of the Alma).

The Swan Reunion is the brainchild of Alison and Janet (after months of deliberating, cogitating and drinking quite a few beers we decided to give it a go). We are also pleased to announce that Trev and Mags of the Alma are now our sponsors.

On the 8th May 2004 the first reunion took place at the Bolton Anglers Club on Rishton Lane. Our band for the evening was The 4 Candles, fronted by Graham Whyte (they were brilliant!). After weeks of organising and wondering if anyone would turn up, we were gratefully surprised to find ourselves surrounded by around 300 people, most of whom hadn't seen each other in well over 5 years, and longer. Some had travelled from Scotland, The Midlands and further south, just to be with us. It was great to see so many old faces in one place.

Many thanks to everyone who turned up at Rivington Barn on Saturday, 17th February. Yet again The 4 Candles excelled themselves. They are truelly a first class band, the sound was fantastic and everybody got up dancing. They will be a hard act to follow but we will do our best for the next one. Sadly, that was Trev's last performance for us as DJ because due to prior commitments he is finding it hard to juggle everything. Alison and I would like to thanks Trev and Mags for all their support over the years and wish them well with the Soundhouse.
